Exciting Things are Happening at Fingerboard Farm!
The sun is shining, the birds are singing, flowers are blooming—Spring has arrived! Fingerboard Farm is thrilled to announce the many exciting things happening in this season of growth!
Fingerboard Farm is dedicated to offering the highest quality, local, natural, health-promoting, environmentally conscious products available. We are excited to announce the start of a co-operative relationship with other local farmers and producers! Beginning April 18th, Fingerboard Farm will have available a variety of in-season, fresh from the farm produce, meat, dairy products, and baked goods. Swing by the Farm to see what our weekly selection has to offer and be sure to pick up a dozen of Fingerboard Farm’s fresh eggs while you’re here!
In other exciting news, there are new “fungis” in town! Fingerboard Farm now has available through our online shop mushroom grow kits, tinctures, capsules, and more, all packed with nutritious and therapeutic potential! Mushrooms have been shown to support the immune system, protect against diabetes and heart disease, protect against cancer, fight infections, reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety, and have anti-inflammatory effects. They are one of the few foods that naturally contain vitamin D, and they are packed with other micronutrients and prebiotics to promote healthy energy, a healthy gut, and overall health and wellness. Shop online to see what’s new!
Part of our mission is to educate and share what we’ve learned with others, and we are excited to be able to offer home grower supplies for home growers and gardeners! We will have all the information, tools, and tips to get you on your way to being a Home Grower. Stop by now to shop for soil and other essentials to get started and stay tuned for upcoming education events we will be hosting at the Farm!
New growth would be a lot less fun without WORMS! Worm Farms are now available for growers and gardeners ready to treat their plants to the best natural fertilizer and garden helpers available. Worms produce castings that are rich in microbial life, are an excellent fertilizer, and the worms themselves are very efficient soil aerators! Worm Farms are an excellent addition to any home garden.
Finally, save the date for our Fingerboard Farm 4/20 Open House! Head over to the Farm on April 20, 2023 from 2 pm – 11 pm for live music, food trucks, and more!
